Keith, the hyper aware homeless man
Not everyone falls within the same category, we are all separate individuals with different backgrounds, life experiences, opinions and weaknesses.
Keith charges his experiencing pointed to drug addiction as being the cause, yet openly admits that he could change his life around if he were to get sober, but that that does not interest him right now.
His point of view amazes me as he states "I am not one of these homeless people that thinks everybody owes them something", which is quite different from most perspectives that I have personally encountered.
When Keith was asked what he would wish for if he had 3 wishes, he did admit that the first would be a pill that would allow his to forget "what opioids feel like". His second and third wishes are so simple, to be reunited with his dog and his cat.
There is no mention of money, or another life, or a home or anything.
Regardless of his drug addiction, his mind is clear and aware, I find him a very interesting man and his perspective contradicts the tradition view held by society.
Yes, he uses the money that is given to him in part to sustain his drug addiction, but he is not a victim.
He didn't choose to be here, faith has guided him down a dark path, however where he goes from here, he knows is in his control.
